After conducting user testing on the NZ Gong Cha app experience, users found it difficult to navigate drinks and lacked flexibility in ordering. These usability issues prohibits users from using the app. My aim of this project was to improve the user interface based on these problems.

Project Outline
This project focuses on improving the experience of a site or app; for this project, I’ve chosen Gong Cha as the experience I want to improve on. Following the double diamond method and working closely with users, and gaining their insights helped me find opportunities to improve Gong Cha’s user experience.
Problem Statement
The problem most of the users face is the user interface of the Gong cha app. There is a lack of flexibility and ease of navigation within the app due to non-clickable buttons, lack of visuals, and no search function. These obstacles affect users' experience of ordering drinks on the app, and they would rather order in through Uber or in person than using the app.
Design Approach
I aimed to improve the user experience of the NZ Gong Cha app by discovering and understanding the pain points of the app's current state. Evaluate and test my assumptions of the app to improve the user experience of the Gong Cha application through user testing. Gather and understand user insights to form an opportunity. Iterate and produce an improved design from the existing app.
My solution to improving this app is to add a visual direction for clickable buttons and a visual menu for easier navigation. I also added a search function and scheduled a pick-up time option for flexibility. I measured the success metrics by conducting user testing and based the design's success on user feedback, usage time, and the number of errors occurring.
